Mini How to install Komodo-editor
Установку будем выполнять в каталог /opt/komodo
Делаем раз:
[useradm@localhost ~]$ gzip -d Komodo-Edit-5.2.4-4343-linux-libcpp6-x86.tar.gz
[useradm@localhost ~]$ tar xfv Komodo-Edit-5.2.4-4343-linux-libcpp6-x86.tar
su
password:
[root@localhost Komodo-Edit-5.2.4-4343-linux-libcpp6-x86]# sh install.sh
Enter directory in which to install Komodo. Leave blank and
press 'Enter' to use the default [~/Komodo-Edit-5].
Выбираем каталог, иначе он поставит нам в /root/Komodo-bla-bla
Install directory: /opt/komodo
...
Wait...wait... 
...

Komodo Edit 5 has been successfully installed to:
/opt/komodo
You might want to add 'komodo' to your PATH by adding the
install dir to you PATH. Bash users can add the following
to their ~/.bashrc file:
export PATH="/opt/komodo/bin:$PATH"
Or you could create a symbolic link to 'komodo', e.g.:
ln -s "/opt/komodo/bin/komodo" /usr/local/bin/komodo

запустить можно из командной строки:
komodo
или:
menu - приложения - разработка - Editor(komodo)
