Хм за путь обычно отвечает файл /etc/make.globals обычно строчка DISTDIR=
Хотя по идее можно выполнить и так:

DISTDIR=/usr/portage/distfiles emerge -av vwdial

Вы пытаетесь установить бинарный пакет?..
Если нет, то make.conf надо заполнить.

На форуме Calculate посоветовали:
Вместо /usr/portage/distfiles используйте путь /var/calculate/remote/distfiles. Подробнее можно посмотреть, выполнив `emerge --info`.

Wvdial на Calculate

Проблема такая: поставил Calculate Linux Desktop 11.0 KDE x86_64. Интернет есть только от скайлинка. Нужно поставить vwdial. Буду благодарен если кто то выложит все необходимые файлы установки чтобы не чего не качалось из нета. Как настроить его я сам разберусь. Пробывал делать на Calculate: как тут http://www.gentoo.ru/content/kak-mne-us … -internetu
Но выдало файл с содержанием:

http://distfiles.gentoo.org/distfiles/wvdial-1.61.tar.gz
http://distfiles.gentoo.org/distfiles/wvstreams-4.6.1.tar.gz

Скачал эти два файла с венды и положил в /usr/portage/distfiles/
emerge -av vwdial Не установилось. А без нета совсем туго. Даже не погуглишь.
