Ну вот уже и прилично счетчик насчитал. Советую гуглить на тему его отключения/замедления. Реализовать это можно с помощью hdparm, например.
Это же Green, его трудно перегреть. Это небыстрый, холодный хард. Но головки он парковать любит очень ибо идея фикс линейки Green - экономичность.
Не буду утверждать и спорить, поскольку лично сам его не использовал. Привел в пример лишь отзыв с форума smile

Прицепом поставил gsmartcontrol. Он мне нашел какие то 5 ошибок 
Вот опять загрузился линукс и диск начал хрюкать ))
На всякий пожарный ( boot - ext2, / - resiserfs, /home - reiserfs ).
Но MHDD этих ошибок не нашел, любой бенчмарк в винде утверждает что у меня жизнеспособный винт )
+ Вот тест из оффтопика (HDD Life)
BTW: До этого харда всегда брал Самсунги, умирали с периодичностью в 3 - 4 года. Взял WD, 2ух лет не прошло уже хрюкает. Больше WD брать не буду.
