Разобрался наконец с проблемой PPPoE через один reboot
Теперь никаких rp-pppoe, только ppp

Соединение теперь стартует всегда, имхо повлияла опция metric_ppp0=0
Других предположений нет.
Но иниты так и не заводятся сами...
Пришлось в /etc/local.d/

Не, не выход, у меня еще скрипт при старте который pppoe проверяет pid, пингует доступ в интернет, переподключается, все из-за того что на Gentoo так и не решил - PPPoE через один reboot

newzenon, можно попробовать выставить задержку для интерфейса

Посмотрел дефолт rc.conf -

$ grep rc_depend_strict /etc/rc.conf

Сейчас гляну что с unbound будет происходить.

У меня нет необходимости в этом, поэтому и не проверял. Раньше была опция, в которой можно было прямо выставить зависимость сервисов от наличия или отсутствия определённых интерфейсов.
