Test

    You may try your webcam with any v4l2 viewer (vlc, mplayer...)
    or with my simple video viewer (svv):

            http://moinejf.free.fr/svv.c

    (the command line to generate the program is at the beginning
     of the source - you need the development packages of gtk+ and
     libv4l)

    If your webcam does not work:

    - there is no /dev/video0:

        - check if the gspca kernel modules are loaded.
          If not, look at the last kernel messages
          ('dmesg | tail -30').

        - if they are loaded, do

            echo 0x0f > /sys/module/gspca_main/parameters/debug

          then unplug and replug your webcam, and send me
          the last kernel messages.

    - the program says 'timeout' or there is no image:

        - do

            echo 0x3f > /sys/module/gspca_main/parameters/debug

          then start the application, and send me the last kernel
          messages.

    - there is a bad image (you see something, maybe moving):

        - get an image with

            ./svv -g

          (or hit 'g' while svv is displaying some images)

        - this creates a file 'image.dat'. Send it to me with the
          last kernel messages.
