Помогите с репозиторием

В общем такая проблема. Создал на своей убунте зеркало репозитория debian с помощью debmirror
с таким конфигом

debmirror --nosource --passive --i18n --host=mirror.neolabs.kz --root=debian --method=ftp --progress --ignore-release-gpg --dist=squeeze,wheezy --arch=i386,amd64 --ignore-release-gpg --ignore-small-error --section=main,contrib,non-free /mnt/sdb1/repo/

все скачалось все нормально .

Но вот когда я подрубая его на удаленных машинах которые не имеют доступа к миру

deb ftp://my_ip/1/repo /

и делаю apt-get update у меня начинается следующая ересь

apt-get update

как я понял я не могу приконектится по фтп, не знаю почему. с винды других компов спокойно захожу и по ftp и по http

помогите пожалуйста, подскажите в какую сторону копать
