I managed to build Diana on openSUSE and also get a segmentation fault when it runs.
I'll try to find the cause of it and let you know of any possible solution next week.

Sorry about the continuous updates, but I've just fixed the bug that led to a
crash on my system. If you update your Diana sources and rebuild the application,
a fix in src/qtObsDialog.cc may solve your problem, too.

ИМХО учтывая, что оно сегфолтится, остаётся только начать отладку или писать девелоперам... у меня fimex с ходу не собрался, а --without-fimex в diana сломано... так что дальше копать её мне, если честно, не очень хочется...

Так и сделал: заменил строку на 

METNO_REQUIRE_C_LIBRARY([UDUNITS], [udunits2], [udunits2.h], [ut_parse])

Дальше компиляция пошла. Требовались ещё библиотеки, но, вроде, справился. ...но не работает

После сборки там рекомендуют распаковать архивы в директорию с программой: в /usr/share/diana
Так вот её нет.
При запуске самого пакета:

Кто вам сказал, что это только там работает? Проверьте список файлов проблемного пакета и подкорректируйте при необходимости, делов-то.

Пытаюсь скомпилировать метеорологическую софтину.
Там есть подробная инструкция, но только для Ubuntu 12.04 и Fedora 20.

Я притормозил в следующем месте:

./configure --prefix=/usr/local --with-udunits2-includedir=/usr/include/udunits2

При конфигурировании идёт проверка на наличие библиотеки udunits и её версии (не менее 2.1). В openSUSE эта библиотека присутствует в двух версиях: udunits (1.12) и udunits2 (2.1).

Скрипт находит udunits, и говорит, что не та версия. Про udunits2 он ничего не знает.

Как дать понять скрипту configure, что искал udunits2 вместо udunits.

--with-udunits2-includedir=/usr/include/udunits2 призвано это решить, но это для Fedora 20.

В openSUSE 13.1 получаю замечание о нераспознанной опции.

На этом всё обрывается.

Как решить проблему? Лезть в сам конфигурационный скрипт не хочу, так как получиться не универсально.
