зависит от дистрибутива... в большенстве есть готовый пакет в разнообразных non-free ветках...
настройка тоже дистрибутивозависима... общий принцип: что бы java ссылался на оракловский бинарник или через враппер, или через симлинк, или через манипуляцию с PATH'ом...

Я скачал jdk8 с сайта oracle, но старую удалить опасаюсь так как она тянет зависимости.
Поставил jdk8

Поставил пакет intel parallels studio 2013.
Прописал все переменные среды.
Запускаю idb.
Выходит среда разработки.
При попытке открыть исполняемый файл крэшится и пишет в консоль:
