--shadow-exclude-reg GEOMETRY
Specify a X geometry that describes the region in which shadow should not be painted in, such as a dock window region. Use --shadow-exclude-reg x10+0-0, for example, if the 10 pixels on the bottom of the screen should not have shadows painted on.

kirillov3798, в Openbox + Tint2 срабатывает без проблем. WMaker не юзал, хрен знает как там что устроено, попробуй запустить с параметром как в manе
написано

-C, --no-dock-shadow
Avoid drawing shadows on dock/panel windows.

Задумал поковырять WindowMaker. Но если kwin умеет бороться с тирингом, то wmaker нет. Соответственно нужен композитный менеджер. Их два: xcompmgr и compton. Выбор пал на последний, т. к. он изобилует различными фичами, чего не скажешь о xcompmgr. Но проблема в том, что он не во всех дистрибутивах есть. А если и есть, то в сторонних репах. Собственно для федоры я нашел здесь.
Просто интересно, почему собирают именно xcompmgr, а не compton? И что нужно прописать в конфиг compton'а, чтобы убрать тени у дока wmaker'а? А то при добавлении "аддонов", если можно так выразиться, он начинает мигать.
