Заглянул на днях в лог и увидел пару ошибок (EE), касаемых мыши. До этого не парился, мышь работает без нареканий, но неприятный осадок при виде EE остался. Собственно вопрос - как убрать EE? Мышиный разъем - pc/2.

mister_hat, лог лучше бы показать полностью.
P.S. По какой причине вы закомментировали опцию MatchIsPointer "on"?

Был, был и весь вышел...

Что с этой опцией, что без нее - разницы нет, мышь работает, в логе ошибки не исчезают.

P.S. Пользовался предпоследним советом отсюда (только заместо клавиатуры - мышь) http://gentoo.ru/node/21619 - не помогло.

Покажите тогда и весь /etc/X11/xorg.conf и файлы, если есть, из директории /etc/X11/xorg.conf.d.
И вывод команды

Хм не вижу проблем, у вас просто сначала ищет мышь на устройстве /dev/input/event1, но не найдя ее ищет мышь на /dev/input/mouse0


просто показан лог поиска мыши.
evdev работает вроде через hal

у меня например мышь прописана так через иксы.

Hal не устанавливался. Использую udev и драйвер evdev поэтому:

Проблема решена! Ошибки исчезли. Добавил в секцию "InputClass" строку MatchDevicePath "/dev/input/mice" и после рестарта иксов в логе все нормально:

Думаю Доктор имел в виду использование для записи мыши файл /etc/X11/xorg.conf
так как мышь и так прописана в /usr/share/X11/xorg.conf.d/10-evdev.conf
хватило бы там просто поправить секцию Identifier "evdev pointer catchall" это и есть мышь.
а в /etc/X11/xorg.conf строку для мыши оставить пустой.

Из лога видно что грузятся два конфига мыши из двух файлов, по прежнему, ну и можно мышь закоментировать в /usr/share/X11/xorg.conf.d/10-evdev.conf

удав как раз и задуман для автоматической настройки. просто подправьте то, что настроит не получилось:

вместо этого вы правите xorg.conf, как в прошлом веке.
