Здравствуйте.
При попытке выполнить
systemctl start bitcoind
Получаю следующую ошибку.

Вам же написало: "Программный код завершился ошибкой. Если нужны подробности - смотри журнал событий".

Попробуй запустить руками команду. Посмотрим на вывод ошибки.

Значит криво юнит написан.
