не знаю как там сюзе (включайте интуицию !) , примерно так :
в каталоге /etc/X11/gdm/ найдите файл custom.conf , это текущая конфигурация GDM , по идее должен ещё быть дефолтный файл что-то типа custom.conf.new , но возможно разрабы или его выкинули или изменили , тыц - вот полное описание как это работает .
теоретически (опасный эксперимент ! сохраните файлы которые собираетесь изменять) в этом месте :
