скачал последние пакеты (на день написания темы 1.3.21)
не устанавливаются из-за зависимостей пакетов - требуются  более новые
при подключения к источнику sid или squeeze и проверки недостающих пакетов зависимости зарываются до обновления gnome,xorg .....
при установке из исходников

:~/wine-1.3.21$ ./configure

как я понял проблема в компиляторе, но как ее решить не знаю
обновил gcc до squeeze'ского с зависемостями (не помогло)

после некоторых изысканий обновления пакетов до sid
получил

обновляя flex опять (тоже) зависимости добрались до gnome
