Сейчас попробовал запустить Team Fortress 2 на openSUSE. Заработала. Раньше был просто черный экран. Ура 
Возможно заведутся другие игоры на Source. Так что стоит попробовать.
И смысловая нагрузка топика? У многих TF2 еще с того времени как Steam для Linux был Private Beta работает.

3.2.12. Запрещается создавать неинформативные темы.xxblx, ладно, согласен. Но на openSUSE 12.3 TF2 не заводился хоть убей (вернее заводился, но с черным экраном)

Запускалась игра с пустым черным экраном. Кстати проблема вернулась.

Потому что сильно отличается от пердыдущих игр, а претендует на продолжение.

Попробуй опцию -autoconfig
