Не работает web камера в Скайпе, и в других приложениях тоже... Mandriva 2010.1. Что скажете?

на диске есть,зайди в установка\удаление программ и там найди.Или в консоле от root

Консоль:

urpmi v4l

диск только вставь.

dkms-v4l-dvb-testing,просто без kernel,возможно будут модули на камеру,устанавлевается долго,какбудто зависло,дождись окончания установки.Перегрузи комп.

Наверняка, указано неверное устройство.
Проверь работоспособность камеры, к примеру через vlc плеер. (Открыть утройство)
Устройство камеры в системе, скорее всего /dev/vide0
осмотреть что есть, можно так:
